I'd been here 3 years ago and needed to get some Indian artefacts for friends in the UK. And I'm so glad I went there, rather than FabIndia/Bombay store- which is so overpriced and has so many similar objects. Purva and Sheetal helped me find Warli paintings, beautiful hands painted wooden trays, stoles. You do need to dig though. It's a small space, and things are attacked over each other! Be patient. It's a treasure trove!

These artists are from the tribal community and we are gradually losing such artists & art forms. Shri Shrikrishna and Mrs poorva Paranjpe both are actively meeting these artists to procure unique & authentic handicrafts from different states of India. I suggest all of us should certainly visit Tribe Chatari outlet and buy these products so that we could promote the Indian traditional art & tribal products and support their art to keep alive this skill.
