The excess water is then squeezed out and mixed with paper, straw, cloth ,and binding agents to form a paste. This paste is now placed in a mold and allowed to dry for three days or more. Once dry, the shape is cut from the mold into two halves and then glued together. The base color is painted on it. The paper Mache items are used for wall decoration, home decoration and used as a showpiece. The benefits of paper Mache usage are uncountable. By using paper Mache we are encouraging recycle of waste paper at the same time using bio degradable products for home and office decoration, at the same time encouraging artisans in this craftsmanship to keep the culture alive.
